Big Falls located on the magical Humber River happens to be right on the doorstep of our fishing lodge and it has been a world class fly fishing and tour destination for decades.

Big Falls is located at the Sir Richard Squires Memorial Park at the upper section of the famous Humber River in the Western region of the Island of Newfoundland, Canada. Big Falls is the first impediment for Atlantic Salmon arriving from the sea some 80 kilometres down river. The numerous pools below the Falls stack up with hundreds of salmon awaiting the best opportunity to ascend the Falls and to continue their journey to the uppermost reaches of the Humber River watershed.
